Help us prevent more tragedies like what happened to Brayden Hatchell

Brayden Todd Hatchell, a 9th-grader at Darlington High School, died on March 12. His parents say that the boy took his own life, and that he did it because he was being bullied. He was 15 years old.
The parents, Brandon Hatchell and Ashley Floyd, have retained attorneys Ashley Nance and Chelci Avant of Parker Law Group, to help them determine exactly what happened, and what can be done to prevent it happening to other children.
As a first step toward learning more, the law firm has launched a special email address:
stopbullying@parkerlawgroupsc.com
“We know there are people in the community who know about what happened to Brayden and have information to share,” said attorney Nance. “This email address is a way for knowledgeable parties to share what they know with us, so that we can help prevent such unspeakable tragedies in the future.”
The shocking, untimely death has been the subject of a news story investigated by Tonya Brown, a reporter with WPDE NewsChannel 15 television station in Conway. The community of Darlington has been talking about this tragedy a great deal, most noticeably on social media. People have tried to share what they know, or in many cases, think they know. We want to find out more, much more.
