Mary Bass Lohr

Mary Lohr was born and raised in Colleton and Beaufort County. She graduated from Walterboro High School and University of South Carolina Columbia Undergraduate, cum laude. In 1999, she graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Law.
After law school, she worked as a Staff Attorney as the South Carolina Court of Appeals, where she also served as law clerk for The Honorable William Howard. In February 2001, Mary and her husband Jon, moved to Beaufort where Mary began her private practice doing insurance and governmental defense.
Before joining Parker Law Group as the Chief Operations Officer, Mary represented local businesses, healthcare organizations, large national corporations, and local and state government agencies for over twenty years. Her practice focused primarily on civil rights and employment litigation, personal injury litigation, medical malpractice defense, and land use and property taxation law. Mary also gained extensive experience practicing before the SC Court of Appeals, the South Carolina Supreme Court, and the Federal Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals with numerous successful outcomes in published appellate opinions.
Mary and her husband Jon have one son, Clay, who attends The Citadel and are active in community affairs in the Beaufort area, volunteering regularly with local health care, philanthropic, and educational organizations.
